Learn how to make Mouth Watering 'LAHORI CHICKEN' with our chef Smita Deo.<br /><br />Lahori Chicken is a delicious chicken curry recipe which is originated in Lahore. It is a popular street food in Lahore, and is usually served with Basmati Rice. <br /><br />Ingredients:<br />(Serves 4)<br />- 1 Kg Chicken<br />- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste<br />- 4-5 tbsp Oil <br />- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste<br />- 3 Green Chillies(chopped)<br />- 1 Onion(paste)<br />- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder<br />- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 3 Tomatoes(chopped)<br />- 1/2 cup Curd(beaten)<br />- Salt<br />- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder <br />- 1 tsp Coriander Seed Powder<br />- 1 cup Water<br />- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves(chopped)<br />- Mint Leaves(chopped)<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Add garlic paste over chicken, mix it and let it marinate for about an hour<br />2. Heat oil in a wok over a high flame, and fry marinated chicken for around 2-5 minutes<br />3. Add ginger paste, finely chopped green chillies to the wok, and saute it till the raw smell of ginger past goes off<br />4. Now, add onion paste to the wok and saute it for about 3-4 minutes <br />5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chopped tomatoes <br />6. Saute it till the tomatoes becomes soft; add beaten curd and mix it <br />7. Now, turn the flame to low and saute it for few minutes <br />8. Add salt, garam masala powder, corinader seed powder; mix it and add water <br />9. Now, cover and cook the chicken for around 10 minutes<br />10. Add chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves and serve it
